What did YOU think of the movie, Zombie? Imo, this "review" makes it look worse than I actually remember it. I think it was maybe that the horrifying parts were interspersed with some long periods of absolutely nothing going on that I was numbed when they actually occurred. The worse part of the movie by far for me was The Circle of Blood, the torture and murder of the "bad kids" at the end.
I dunno, maybe its also because most the "horrifying" acts are so readily available on the internet that we are desensitized by the act of "golden showers" and "2 girls one cup". Whaddaya say?
Don't be put off by the title; It's the best action movie of the year (despite miserly DVD features [best science fiction was District 9] ).
