Recommendations

OKay guys, I asked this on the main page, but I'll try a discussion of it. What are the three horror films you would recommend to an amateur. You could name more than 3 of course. As a rookie myself here are the ones I would recommend:
-The Exorcist
-Psycho
-The Evil Dead series.
