The word "avatar" cannot be copyrighted, it's a religious and symbolic word. It's like putting a copyright on the word "messiah", it's not going to work that way. Only the movie title "Avatar" has been copyrighted.

i was thinking that now that James Cameron has the name avatar for his dum looking movie will in the last airbender still be able to refer to aang as the avatar, because of all those rights and shit if not then half of aangs character is out the window and makes this movie a whole fucking lot worse and gives no destiny or worlds last hope responsibility to aang

in short the word avatar better be used in the movie or it will suck
