I generally prefer manga to anime. Mainly because I have more access to manga then I have anime. Plus I like to imagine the voices and movements of the characters. There's also the bonus of no suck filler. I enjoy Fullmetal Alchemist and Naruto more as manga. Same with Fairy Tail and Bleach. One Piece could sometimes go either way. I don't really care. But Trigun and Ghost in the Shell are better as anime.

I ussually prefer manga. Mostly because manga ussually goes a little more in-dept with characters and story. but there are animes that break that rule. but not many

Fruits Basket and Claymore were better as manga, but I don't know whether I preferred FMA as a manga or an anime
