So I know its kinda early, as it's not out till tomorrow, but people like me .i.e british people have seen it so I can get a few posts, and you will all get a chance to see it wendesday.
This shit sucked monkey balls and im a person that liked the first film... No other way to describe it. The shit sucked....horribly. Too many unexplained things.
lol totally off topic, but I wonder if Michael Bay will ever win an Oscar one day C;
On the topic of Transformers II, one of the things I don't like is an abundance of characters in sequels imported over from the first. I think, one of the reasons why I found Pirates of the Carrebean 2 excruciating was seeing how the writers, or whoever the hell was responsible, go out of their way to make sure, like, everyone in the first film had a part in the second film (they could have at least brought Zoe Saldana back....gosh she's lovely C;) I just thought it was all forced, and they should have just explored new characters. Would've been far more interesting for me personally. You should only really bring back the main, main, main cast (or fan favorites--heheh, I don't think the commodore dude was a favorite...and i cant stand blatant comic reliefs like the two ugly ass pirates.it would have been more interesting to see Johnny Depp as the only fuck up in the whole movie--all the comedy was with him...). in fact, I was just hoping they only kept Johnny Depp and Zoe Saldana and said screw the rest...but no.
As for Transformers II. Sam Whitwicky and Megan Fox would have been fine...no offense to Tyrese, no offense to John Turturro, and no offense to all the other returnsers (Anthony Alexander?...mmm =/). I just wish they could be more creative with the principal cast.
I rekon I should direct the next transformers movie, I'll get optimus prime to say "I'll take all you fuckers on" and "I'll getting to old for this shit"
Lol. Other than the cost it takes to flush large amounts of money into the sewer, is it possible this franchise could be hurt by giving you a shot at director? For that matter, is it possible that another director could continue, and save this franchise with out a reboot?
"It's been announced, that in order to save CG costs, the next installment of Transformers 3: Phoenix franchise, will be produced by Pixar Animation Studios. Pixar has a difficult task ahead of them, as they will be required to pick the story up from where Director Bay left the series, in a smoking crater. Pixar will take the radical approach, of dealing with character driven issues, and deal with the morality of involving primitive native bystander's in a war that effectively will never end." - FalseHope
Seriously, if there is a director out there with the balls to actualy think they can turn this around, I'd like to see a honest crack at it. Comon Joel Schumacher, we know you've learned your lesson, here is one last possible shot at redemption!
This movie is bull shit... its completely product placement. The only reason people liked the first one is because no one was expecting anything from it...I think people will be sorely disappointed by the sequel.
I tried to watch the movie for what it was trying to achieve; a summer blockbuster with giant robots kicking the shit out of each other, fine-ass chicks, and mind-blowing special effects. And even though there was plenty of that in the movie. there's still waay too much Bullshit storytelling, bad dialogue and Unnecessary, cringe-worthy elements (eg. sam's parents', skidd and mudflap, the joe pesci-like robot). You can't ignore these moments, it's a two and a half hour long movie Bay could've cut all this bullshit and there's even a certain point when even the action doesn't have the same effect.
From Megan Fox to the Spill Crew and right down to ME and YOU - there's a range of hotness where people forget that sweet ass comes with brain...........NO not that kind of brain. We're all there. This is a support group for YOU.
Dear Mr James Cameron
G’day there. You don’t know me but boy do I know you. Your films have captured my imagination for the last 21 years. From Terminator to yes even Titanic I have loved all your work. Why am I writing this? Well Because I doubted…
