Hey there...
I'm sure we all love our Indiana Jones, our Lord of the Rings, The Dark Knight, Star Wars, Terminator etc.

BUT not all great movies are that commercially well-known. What is the greatest movie you've seen that is generally unheard of? Would love to know more about them :)

seen it, pretty good. try eraserhead
Every film is well known depending on the circles. films by Andrei Tarkovsky might be obscure to some, but it's very well known in the places I go to.
Beijing Bicycle

i sow "the good, the bad, the weird" yesterday and i absolutely loved it A MUST
yup i've read really positive reviews about it from movie mags...will check it out given the chance
you should, it really is a fun movie but just a little too long
I'm not sure how unknown each of these are,
but I rarely hear 'em ever mentioned:

Memories
A Trip To Bountiful
Stuck
Session 9
Streetwise
L.I.E.
Paperhouse
Julia
The Red Violin
American Me

Oh, and at first I thought Sin Nombre was unheard of, but lately I've heard it mentioned one or twice on this site.
the Tao of Steve. I dont know why I like this movie so much, but i can watch it over and over.
HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH. it's not as popular as it should be.

I really like "once upon a time in high school"
its a martial arts film about a kid in a korean school, who has to deal with these bully's,
he has an epic training scene and the he beats them all up with some Nunchakus.
ip man a kung fu film with bad ass fights and good acting ip man 2 will be coming out this year to so i hope it is atleast half as good as the first
