Denimourson posted a statusA recent Press release omitted Young Justice and Green Lantern: The Animated Series from its returning show roster, leading to speculation the shows had been cancelled. Now, we have official confirmation that both shows will not return after their current seasons.
It is expected that Beware The Batman as well as Teen Titans Go! will take the place of the canceled shows. It should also be noted that Star Wars: The Clone Wars was excluded from the list as well. This was because the show, as expected with Disney's acquisition of LucasFilm, will be making a transition to Disney programing. For the latest on all animated superhero shows make sure to check back here at CBM.

Well here's a petition you can join to stop it. It may not help but atleast you tried.

Shows end, dude. They get replaced by others. Sometimes they're worse, sometimes better. Do you really think that this is the end of animated entertainment for you? Because a couple of shows didn't make the cut?
There have been cartoons on TV for more than sixty years. Thousands and thousands and thousands of episodes. The funniest thing - only the tiniest fragment of those aren't cancelled. Instead of salting up your fruity pebbles with tears, try digging some of them up on Youtube, online archives or your local rental spot. Maybe dig into a bit of anime for a change. There's more than enough to tide you over until the next big thing you can't live without watching.
Permalink Reply by Josteo on January 29, 2013 at 1:11am I'm a bit confused. No one here is auguring that shows get canceled. That happens all the time. I like many others are disappointed by this news. Because we enjoyed both shows and feel they deserve another chance. That's all most of us want.
Permalink Reply by PoopaPapaPalpatine on January 29, 2013 at 1:20am Easy for you to say; I've still not been able to fill that void left by Misadventures of Flapjack. Worse yet, I think I made it worse by getting attached to Sym-Bionic Titan.
My heart, it aches so.
Permalink Reply by Josteo on January 29, 2013 at 1:24am Lol, well you can always watch Sym-Bionic Titan on Toonami.
Permalink Reply by Ludwig von Pimpthoven on January 29, 2013 at 1:17am Aww dammit and they just put Static in Young Justice too. :(
Permalink Reply by Josteo on January 29, 2013 at 1:23am I'm enjoying their version of the DC universe the most. I wonder if they could some how bring it to the internet. But I doubt they could get enough money cover the cost of the show. Kickstarter???
Permalink Reply by Joe on January 29, 2013 at 6:44am I'm still pissed they cancelled Justice League/Justice League Unlimited.
Permalink Reply by Dialtribe on January 29, 2013 at 7:45am While I did not care for Young Justice, I am sorry to see it go. To me it always seems that there is a lack of action/adventure cartoons out there, especially those aimed at teenagers. CN, Nick, and Disney seem to be going in the direction of more comedy based cartoons for younger kids than action/adventure ones.
