X-men Origins: Wolverine

No, Im not talking about the retarded movie, Im talking about the game here people. Im not a big X-Men fan but I have heard (I think it was on LEOG) that this game shows a closer representation of the real Wolverine that the film with his ferocious adherence to extreme violence as a solution to obstacles:

But from my point of view (as a non X-MEN fan) the thing that struck me in the demo was it was a hell of a lot of fun. Simple but fun. It also had some great cinematic moments:

I did only play the demo so I'm wondering is it worth getting? I saw it when it first came out and thought it would be another film licence game but this did open my mind.

Either you like it or you dont, I loved it while it lasted, but since I finished the game it is collecting dust in my shelf.

Permalink Reply by Lee Jankowski on July 27, 2009 at 2:31am: Mate I tell you it is definatly worth Renting if you consider yourself a half decent gamer you will clock it in about 6-8 hours I did it in about 6 I think and i was ready to go through on Hard after that. The gameplay is addictive and Intro and Outro Cutscenes are what the movie should have been.

Personally the movie in my eyes was generic Action and boring but the game is what the movie should have been Violent, Gritty and Logan does what he does best.... even if it isnt very nice... 8/10 from me Fast Pace no bars action good for a few days Low replayability so def a Rental,,,,; ▶ Reply to This

Specifically you might ask yourself why Wolverine is just as strong and resistant to damage in the numerous (around 50% of the game) flashback sequences before he had the adamantium procedure as he is in the parts of the game after the procedure.

If you finished the single player there is not much to do anymore in the game so if i were you i should rent it. If you like the character wolverine you are going to love the single player from this game.

The people who made this game were very respectfull to the source material and they delivered a great game. the people who have made this game thinking about making a deadpool game and that would be awesome.; ▶ Reply to This
