For the record, I saw some clips of the movie that aren't in the trailer and I can tell you while there are REALLY RIDICULOUS PARTS (all the henchmen are played by the same actor wearing the same clothes, I'm not making that up) the film doesn't look awful.

Does it look goofy as hell? Yes, but guess what the original comic is goofy as hell and from the clips I've seen the movie embodies the spirit of the original comic...
