of course... but i just find threads like this to be pointless... Nobody saw all the worst films... and those that did are idiots... or critics...
It just makes these threads seem dumb. Of course Terminator Salvation wasn't the worst movie, nor was Twilight, but they'll all act like they are just cuz they're big... it's sooo retarded.
I gotta disagree with you. If nothing else, it allows some vindication against the films that really tortured their viewers.
I've watched a lot of Sci Fi Channel movies, and Transformers 2 is just as bad as any of them. (I was actually very impressed with the humor of Alien Apocalypse).
Then there's the issue of what constitutes a bad film, and in most cases, I would argue that you actually need a certain level of talent and execution. I saw Shark Attack 3, and basically had no reaction to it at all. The execution was so incompetent that it was meaningless. It's not bad, it's just there, a lump of sounds and imagery that serves no purpose.
I compare that reaction to something like My Sister's Keeper, a film that actually inspired visceral loathing. It clearly took a lot of talent and effort to make, and that shows up in the film. It's only as the decisions culminate and take a unifying form that one realizes what an awful, contemptable film it turned out to be. (Twilight wasn't much better.)
The other point, of course, is to get a conversation going. And I'll grant you that it does somewhat defeat the purpose when so many posts simply state the title of a movie and leave it at that.

conversations are fine, but I just wish people would acknowledge that they haven't seen all the films, and that these are just the worst they've seen or heard of. There are some films that sti on shelves because of how bad they are... horrible films lacking anything redeeming or good. I fear I may see some of them this week at Fantastic Fest.
But I'm glad people are talking movies... just wish the discussion was about the truly horrendous films that lack anything including character and talent.
The plot is unbelievably cliche, the fight scenes are a fucking string fest, the characters look stupid (especially Piccolo; he looks like an alien taken right out of the Sci-Fi channel), and nothing about it made sense! I'm not even a fan of the original anime!
#2 worst: G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra
God, and people thought Transformers 2 was bad! G.I. Joke: The Rise of Bullshit is a mess of horrible acting, horrendous action scenes, a terrible love story, and a god-awful cliffhanger ending. It's like Super Mario Brothers all over again! The cartoon was campy, a term which here means "the likable kind of ridiculous", but the movie is just unacceptable!
I honestly did not know what to expect from G.I. Joe. It did look kind of cool as a stand-alone film, but it looked nothing like the original cartoon. I went to see it out of curiosity, and now, just the thought of it makes me cringe.
