The worst movie ive seen this year is Transformers 2. Unfortunatley ive seen too many people stand up for it and say "it was awesome!!!!". Which makes it even more annoying
(Note: I did not see Street Fighter, Bride Wars, Dragonball Evolution, Pink Panther 2, I Love You Beth Cooper, Obsessed, or Post Grad)
The worst movie of the year(after much thinking) is X-Men Origins: Wolverine. I mean, Transformers 2 was bad, but at least it was entertaining and had better special effects. The same can't be said for Wolverine.
In almost every respect, Transformers 2 is one of the worst-executed films I've ever seen: worst screenplay, worst acting, worst direction, worst editing, the list goes on.
That said, the film has no delusions about its quality, which is something I have to take into account. It's there to supply cleavage, low-brow humor, and loud noises, and it performs all of these functions to excruciating lengths. Apart from its attempts to engage the current political climate (which are more flabbergasting than offensive), it's completely harmless.
I can't say the same for My Sister's Keeper, a comtemptable film that exploits leukemia for cheap tears at the expense of the audience's intelligence. For the first ten minutes or so, I was actually very intrigued by some of the ideas being introduce (i.e. a girl specifically designed as an organ donor for her sister rebels against her assigned purpose in life), but the film tries to be too many things at once: A courtroom drama, a romance, a portrait of family dysfunction, a screwball comedy (if you watch the courtroom scenes out of context), etc. Any one of these might've made a good, if not great, film in the hands of a competent director or screenwriter, but Nick Cassavetes demonstrates such misunderstanding of his own dramatic intent that I wanted to strangle the negative (which is, of course, impossible).
I've already written at length about some of the more offensive choices in this film, but I didn't even scratch the surface.
I have a lot of difficulty choosing between which of these films is worse.

I'm sorry but Terminator wasn't NEARLY as bad as MANY of the awful film that came out this year. A lot of the stuff you guys are going to complain about is simply because it's what you saw or you're a fanboy of the franchise.
Honestly chances are you didn't see the worst film of the year because even you, knew it was bullshit from the trailer.
So this entire list is kinda pointless unless you saw every movie this year... otherwise it's just "worst movie you saw"
