Name some of the worst casting choices in film history.

Here are some of my favourites:

- Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader (Star Wars Prequels)
- George Clooney as Batman (Batman & Robin)
- Topher Grace as Venom (Spider-Man 3)

Brendan Fraiser as Mo 'Silvertongue' Folchart (Inkheart)
I think a well known British actor would've been better suited for the role like Kenneth Branagh.
Tobey McGuire as Spiderman

Simon Pegg as Scotty in Star Trek - I love Simon Pegg....but this was very silly
Really? I thought Simon Pegg did a great job as Scotty.
Brad Pitt as Louise and Tom "I'm a Scientology nutjerb" Cruise as Lestat in Interview with a Vampire?
That was a travesty.
Even worse is Michael Keaton as a middle aged, pudgy, balding Batman. That was just too much for me to take. And anyone else who has played him since. Although Christian Bale makes me cringe as much as the others did, at least the story is alot better and not corny as shit.
So yeah those. More as I think of them.
We almost could've added Russell Crowe as Wolverine and Nick Cage as Superman. Glad those never happened...
I totally agree, Halle Berry was a terrible choice to play Storm. There's only one person who I felt would do Ororo Munroe justice on the big screen...

Iman

Tom Cruise and Nicholas Cage in any role.
Liev Schreiber as Sabretooth
Val Kilmer as Bruce Wayne/Batman
Jim Carey as Riddler
Arnold Schwarzenegger as Mr. Freeze
Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane Watson
Jessica Alba as Sue Storm
I thought Arnold's role was the only entertaining thing about that film.
Its hard to like any of them when all those movies suucked. Although i thought Val Kilmer was better then Keaton or Clooney.
Kate Bosworth as Lois Lane in Superman Returns
Sofia Coppola as Mary Corleone in The Godfather Part III
Halle Berry as Storm in the X-Men series
Jessica Alba as the Invisible Woman in the Fantastic Four movies
Cameron Diaz as Jenny in Gangs of New York
Keanu Reeves as Johnathan Harker in Bram Stoker's Dracula
Madonna as Eva Peron in Evita
Topher Grace as Eddie Brock/Venom in Spider-Man 3
Kevin Costner as Robin Hood in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves
Ben Affleck as Daredevil in Daredevil
1. Vincent Price in The Last Man on Earth

I had a discussion about a problem in this movie not too long ago. When you watch this movie you can't help but feel that no matter how hard Mr Price brushes his mustache, he just does not seem to fit in the universe.

2. John Wayne in The Conqueror

I had to watch this movie in my World History class a few years ago, and I must say that it is one of the funniest mess-ups I have ever seen in a movie. I can't blame old Hollywood though, taking a white, slightly racist actor and dressing him up as a some sort of 'funny skinned person' was one of hippest fads then.
