why would you justify Sam Raimi making this movie, which i will not even see because it will be depressing if you ask me, by bashing Michael Bay's movie(even though its a stretch calling it that)? Its two completely different directors and its really, really, i can not stress this enough REALLY easy to make a movie better than the second transformers movie.

I don't know, who would have thought that Sam would do a GOOD job with another comic-book movie? They don't have a good track record for being "Great cinema" until recently, and Sam's version of Spiderman is at the FOREFRONT of a Comic-book based movie being a GOOD movie on it's own. So I have faith that Sam will be able to do something GOOD with the Warcraft product.

BUT-- can't stress this enough-- BUT, if they decide to let the "heroes" of the movie being the typical "Good guy" Dwarf, Elv, Human type of group they are SCREWED. It will be compared to LotR, D&D, Dragonheart... and almost EVERY OTHER fantasy-based movie EVER made.

They NEED to make it about the HORDE being the good guys. Let's see the Troll, Orc, Undead, Tauren fighting against an invasion of "evil" humans. It's DIFFERENT enough to place it on the same level as LotR for conflict without looking like a cheap ripoff. But, Blizzard's history of blatant favoritism towards the Alliance, I'm worried they will not want to try that approach.

Now when you say it like that it makes me all goose pimpley I agree it has to be different it has to be its own not like LOTR or D&D cus D&D sucked A** and LOTR is just well brill. so WOW has to blow them off the Shelves instead of blowing OFF.

Agreed, MDS. I am a fan of this game. And would hate to see them just side with the Alliance, making the typical "orcs r bad guize lawl" it would feel too much like LotR and just the same old shit.

Well every one in Warcraft thinks they are the good guys but I think the undead are the closest to been good alliance are just hate mongering scum and the Horde cant help been angry cus Orcs like to fight that isnt evil thats just thier past time!

Not either side is really "Evil" they've both done terrible things and just doing what they need to survive. ( With the possible exceptions of the Undead, as there have been hints that they'll betray the Horde and use the new plague to kill everything. )
