Yeah, I have to admit that after the latest patches I was SHOCKED when my lvl 20 druid got a mount, yet he still didn't get "Travel form" until 24... which makes me ask what the hell use IS Getting travel form now for druids?
I don't know, there just seems to be this massive push from Blizzard to make it easier for lower levels, yet all the "good stuff" is still for the high-end players that are NOT just messing around for a couple of minutes or hours. Hell, even when they have the daily quests requiring you to get 2-4 people to join you and help? Yeah, Blizzard's slowly lost it's way with what makes playing WoW fun.... just kicking back for a bit and goofing around.
travel form can be used in combat and is very useful when trying to get distance to use some "HOTs". Once the hots are on you switch back to cat (or bear) and go back to battle

I played since beta and this does tempt me, however not enough to come back. I loved Azeroth and 40 man raids were what the greatest times. BC was still enjoyable to do BT and the fact you had to get keyed. Once they removed that, it was all downhill for me. So with the current raiding system in place I doubt I'll jump to it.
I also loved how paladins and shamans were faction specific. I hated the addition of DKs. These races do seem pretty nifty. I love goblins and if I worked retail I'd probably talk like one to the annoying customers. But again not enough to make me reinstall the game.
I play my mmos for pve with a dash of pvp on the side. Those epic fights in Hillsbrad were so much fun. Flying mounts will further remove encounters within the world making it less likely to happen. Leveling in STV were the greatest and worst times of my WoW life. I did quite well in the arena on my WAR during BC but stopped after WoTL. It's just not my favorite thing.
AND HOLY SH*T DEATHWING! I looooove the books and the lore. This is the one key factor that's tugging on my heart strings to return.
This game is just too casual friendly for my playing style. Most of my old guildies moved on to other things and I rather keep the memory of the good times then try to relive a game that's stale.
I mainly used WoW to keep in contact with my friends after we split ways in the military. I stopped playing for a long time afterwards and cancelled my subscription.
WoW didn't get hooked it was final Fantasy XI that did that.
me i'm a current wow player and i have to say Cataclysm reduced me to tears... no joke! since the middle of june i've got a :pally, warlock, warrior, hunter, druid, and priest!! all from lvl 1 to 60. no i'm not proud and yes i may have gone u a jean size.. ALTHOUGH it's not quite as bad as it sounds. i was playing with me sis with recruit a friend so X3 exsperiance and for ever 2 lvl shes gets i get 1 free. ^^
point beeing i wanted 1 of every class above 60 so i never had to play though the origanal game again... then Cataclysm... basically Wow 2... i wanted to slit my writs at that point. :'(
i dont know, i hate how the game homogenized the classes to the point that certain classes dont have much importance or use. i also hate the overemphasis of gear over skill.
This is a group for everyone to try and understand the true greatness of kanye West and what he did at the VMAs, we know he is great because UltraKid-SoulChild#1 keeps telling us, how wrong are we.
