I am an X player, and no it will not bring me back. The new races are gay, and adding new classes that previous races didn't have before hand is dumb.

I will admit that the changing of the game world is cool, but that's it. A hundred more fetch 20 hog liver quests doesn't excite me at all.

When they balance classes to a respectable degree, increase quest quality, and increase dungeon difficulty then I'll think about it.

The new races are great, and more fetch Hog liver. I'm sorry but have you done ANY northrend quests?

A-freakkin'-men. I will not be returning to WOW. It really takes a lot of time to do anything noteworthy in this game. Time that I am not so willing to splurge now.

lol 4 months, try 4 YEARS!!!
Im an ex-player an no this is not gonna bring me back to wow. Everythings been dumbed down and the new races make no sense.
As much as i dont wanna get sucked into an mmo ever again i think the new star wars one is gonna bring me back. :(

Ooo! Some one looking for a new MMO. Have you tried City of Heroes? I've tried a lot of different MMO's, and that one keeps coming back as my favorite.

Nah WOW and i guess a few of the free korean mmos if you count those grindfests are the only ones ive played and like i said after wow i never wanted to play mmo again, just so life sucking.
Buuuuuuttttttt......i looked at star wars: the old republic and its just looking so awesome, I just cant resist its lure.....makes me think mmos are darth vader and im being lured to the dark side!

City of heroes looked decent but not enough for me to shell out the cash for it lol. Im just gonna wait for star wars.

Goblins for the Horde side is something that is tempting, but not having to go through the entire leveling bullshit. Besides the flying in "old world" content, not really much that I find enjoyable. I'm sorry Blizzard, but you continue to go on-and-on about how the "Higher levels" get to enjoy all the new material, now let's do the "lower levels" when in truth, it's nothing more but additional reasons to turn everything into the same stuff regardless of being Alliance or Horde side, and the focus is SOLELY on either PVP action or on what your group/raid/guild can get into.

What about the people like me that play from time to time? Where do MY "advantages" come into play? Why can't I get the better stuff? What good are my latest "Achievements" for the last few years when i can't do anything WITH the achievements, and you make it EASIER for people to DO the achievements that took me months to do when I was playing my first characters?

Sorry, but WoW is still something I do just to pass the time and keep away boredom. But really sad how much IS being dumbed down (and watered down) and being pushed as "new" when it's just the same shit no matter what or who your character is.

Well, to be fair, they do have a few new things for lower level and casual players.

Like the fact that they've dropped the level requirements for all mounts by ten, and made them cheap as Hell (by old standards).

I also heard they turned Tycho Brahe in to a vampire....

You are right in some regards, though. They're putting way too much emphasis on endgame and PVP stuff.
Back when I played World Of Warcraft my favorite thing to do was jump on for about an hour, party with a friend, and play through a dungeon.
That's pretty much impossible these days, as it seems like even the regular quests are beginning to require you join a five man party....
