In Transformers: ROTF they go to the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum, which is not located on The Mall in D.C., and has an airplane graveyard outside it.
Star Wars Episodes I-III-- the Jedi start training as children, but in Empire, Luke only trains for a few days. I guess it could be argued that Luke trained himself in the Jedi ways (he could already use the force to blow up the Death Star and retrieve his lightsabre from the snow). And Obi Wan said Yoda instructed him in Empire, but it was actually Qui Gon Jin. And the little bacteria are the source of The Force?
Superman 2...the amnisia kiss. Still a great movie, but still, what the hell? Why not just do that to all the villans. It would be awkward, but there'd be alot less crime.
I really hated that in Superman Returns, Superman can't even fight off Cal Penn while standing on top of Kryptonite, not touching it because of the shoes. Then when he is touching it, he can actually push the huge kryptonite boulder up several hundred feet.

Because Superman is powered by Earth's yellow sun. It probably administers enough energy for him to pull that off, even if it hurts like all hell. I didn't understand until a friend told me that it's established in the Superman mythos that yellow sunlight, the source of Superman's strength, makes him stronger, even if Kryptonite harms him.
