I agree with EVERY single word that the spill crew ever said about these two hosebags.

They produce DOGSHIT

However, after doing some real quick research, here are the numbers

Date movie                  Cost 20 Million      Gross   84 million

Epic movie                  Cost 20 Million       Gross  86  Million

Meet the Spartans       Cost 30 Million       Gross  85 Million

Disaster Movie             Cost 20 Million       Gross  35 Million

Vampires Suck            Cost 20 Million       Gross  79 Million

Total cash outlay           110 Million            Gross  369 Million

Discounting Disaster movie, this crap is averaging a 400% profit on every dollar spent.

So , putting myself in the position of a studio executive, I'm going to keep giving these clowns small chunks of money to make this garbage if they keep producing $4 in profit for every dollar spent.

Wow what an amazing realisation.... I'm fukin awestruck

... I bet the people who make nerve gas turn in a bigger profit than that, and i wish them more success than anyone who produces/watches/mentions these films

Until I looked this stuff up today, I was always under the inpression that these "films" were underwater.

Fuck that shit. Look at Paranormal Activity.

Budget: 15,000 dollars

Gross: 193,355,800 dollars

Ignoring the fact that the director made a name for himself with a film anyone could make (sans the Ouji board scene), how the fuck did he spend 15,000 dollars on it? My only interpretation is that the entire camera set cost that much money. Walking out of the theater, I felt nothing but contempt for the movie. Kinect is less of a gimmick than Paranormal Activity. Say what you will about Saw, at least it has a plot.

Good for them. I still see it as one of the lower points of horror cinema and that is saying a lot.

I had the hope that people were getting wise to the traps of these movies...guess not :(
