Mediocre actor at best, if I closed my eyes and pictured a half nerd/half douchebag who drives the girls crazy for some unknown reason I would probably picture Shia, which is basically the character he plays most the time. Something South Park, Indiana Jones is going on between Shia, George Lucas, and Stephen Spielberg and we just haven't heard about it on "E!" yet........
Forget Kevin Costner, atleast that man can say he has acting range with his role in Mr. Brooks. People always beat on him, but I think it was because of Waterworld.
Shia is not the least entertaining, comical, or even camera friendly. Everytime you saw him you wished you were watching a transformer. I can say, some of it, is the dialogue he's been given, but Bad Boys was an action pack..... crap dialogue movie, but I loved both Martin Lawrence and Will Smith in it, because they have camera friendly way about them, but Labeouf has no charisma, he looks like a spoiled little brat playing a smartmouthed nerd who needs his teeth knocked in. Then he played in Eagle Eye.................. and were moving on........ Not to mention that, he's influenced other movie producers who I guess cant afford Shia Labeouf at the time to make a movie with someone I promise is his twin...... I'm speaking ofcourse of "Forbidden Kingdom" if it wasn't for Jackie Chan and Jet Li........ I couldn't care about this movie..... whether it's the lead's horrid acting, the thought that that guy could ever learn Kung Fu and even kicks someone's ass, or even get the asian girl as his squeeze reminded me an awfully lot about Shia Labeouf's impossible scoring with Megan Fox, and ever being cool...... Just like Indiana Jones, he coulda made us believe he was that guy who could do such a thing,he fell short. Whether he showed poor acting ability to be a hard ass in Indiana Jones, or showed poor acting ability as a embarrassed excluded teenager, either way..... he's still getting work. These roles he gets, "Transformers, Transformers 2, Indiana Jones" are 5 times the roles he deserves to star in and i believe even the skinny guy from Superbad could pull off a better job than he could ever have.
