nkWhiteStar posted a statusthis is one of those things that i wouldn't really expect to be a heated debate but in my personal experience i have noticed that kinda sets people off or exposes the preconceived notions of other people that play games. the reason that i bring this up is that i was goofing around in Fable III and all the characters i have are female, i was in someone else's albion and i had my mic in and the dude that was on the other end could hear me and asked if i was a dude. i responded "yes" and i heard one of his friends in the background say "oh he must be gay". i'm thinking to myself what the fuck does that have to do with anything? it's a damn video game, why does there appear to be some sort of brocedure about playing a certain type of character in game? so the dude asked why i was playing a female character in the game and i rolled out a short list of reasons why i did and it goes as follows
1) she does what i tell her to:
this should be pretty self explanatory, but i have a direct feed into this broad's head and she reacts how i say, says what i tell her to, wears what i say with no disagreement
2) boobs and vagina:
i have a habit when i'm playing games (RPGs especially) that when i reach a certain level or amount of power that i take off most of my character's armor in order to make things a little more challenging and when i do this i don't want to stare at another man's ass. i also do this being that i might be in for the long haul with this game, maybe 40+ hours and don't want to look at a man that long. women a fucking awesome
3) everyone online assumes that you're a chick:
i have learned that one sure-fire way to damage a simple minded man's ego is have him think that you are a woman and defeat him while playing with the visage of a woman, being that most people online are racist, misogynistic, insecure cocktards it's pretty damn good source of entertainment while entertaining yourself. not only that if you're playing a female character there's bound to be one lonely ass dipshit who is gonna try to get with you without asking that all important question "are you actually a chick?", when you don't respond or do it damages the ego fucking with their skills for a short period and you probably have a better chance at beating them afterwards
that's my current list of reasons but if there's anyone else that does this or does so in the inverse, has any other reasons they would like to add to this list or anything else to say about the matter i would love to hear from you.....

1) she does what i tell her to:
You get pushed around in real life by real women so this is how you act out your control issues.
2) boobs and vagina:
You're right. 40+ hours is a long time for the distraction and sustained erection resulting from staring at man-butts. In a feminine skin, you can even pretend to be one of those girls who beats you up.
3) everyone online assumes that you're a chick:
Best chance of getting someone to show their cock.

Permalink Reply by Gift of the Magi on December 19, 2012 at 7:26am I don't know what's more disturbing, the fact that you stared at the leather-clad ass of a female avatar to the point you got 'uncomfortable' or that you play DCUO.

I feel you may have some kinda problem with your sexuality. It seems you needed to reaffirm your heterosexuality in the middle of a game post, all while explaining why you role play a female(a fact I'm fairly sure no one cares about). Is there something you'd like to discuss?
