Happy Birthday Roboto posted a statusSo I recently watched 2001: A Space Odyssey and it got me thinking... if we're responsible for creating computers and machines such as HAL which will turn against us and try to kill us, how come nature itself isn't regarded to be guilty in the same way it created us just so we could climb up the food chain and then destory everything with war and polution?
I mean we always hear ourselves talkin' 'bout how humans are to blame for everything, but let's just say mother nature is a person, how come noone is never critisizing her?
I'm not saying we shouldn't try to prevent polution and stuff like that, but if we go by the logic of movies like 2001, Terminator and Wall-E which are all three regarded as all-time classics, I belive we shouldn't be too hard on ourselves when it comes to self-destruction.
What do you think?
