If it's crap... We'll tell you

Subliminal St8.

WHO WOULD YOU CONSIDERED TO BE THE BEST HEAVY METAL DRUMMER??

My 1st selection would have to be "DAVE LOMBARDO" from "SLAYER". Let me hear yours?

Neil Peart, hands down.

I consider Rush metal in this case because heavy metal would in no way exist without Rush or Black Sabbath.

I am sorry, but Black Sabbath losses me when I listen to their "heavy metal" songs

I wish they had done more blues.

Thank Christ you said it. People look at me like I'm insane when I say that Metal evolved from Blues.

Blues is the source of everything.

Humble Pie, Mountain, Grand Funk Railroad, Lou Reed, and Tommy Bolin kicked so much ass, but are only remembered for their Rock & Roll (God I hate that phrase)

It is really sad what has become of Blues though.

Yeah...Joss Stone, sweet girl that she is, just doesn't cut it.

Yea no contest. If you play drums you have to respect this man

John Bonham of Led Zeppelin off course, and Lars Ulrich of Metallica.

Keith Moon is definetly NOT Heavy Metal.

Neither is Neil Peart....

Neil Peart is an exception because Heavy Metal wouldn't exist without Rush.

I don't consider Black Sabbath metal either, but I'd still include Tony Iommi a heavy metal guitarist because Sabbath's sound was so influential to the Heavy Metal genre.

Well who's to say heavy metal would exist without The Who?

Going from this line of thinking, you may as well say that Ringo Starr is one of the greatest heavy metal drummers ever because without The Beatles there'd be no Black Sabbath...

Can you honestly say that The Who has had as much an influence on the genre as Sabbath or Rush?

Whatever, that's just my opinion. If you consider the Who as influential as Zeppelin, Rush and Sabbath, I won't burn you at the steak.
