Makes me wish the electric cars made at the beginning of the las century could had worked, that would had been steam punkish at least.

To live in a steampunk universe, it seems that one would have to be reasonably gifted in the understanding of clockwork devices and steam engines. I once bought a paper clock puzzle kit...it did not turn out well. I don't think I would survive well in this world. Although I think it would be easy to fuck it up:

That gearwork on the cat's back looks rather exposed. Considering how exact those kinds of gears have to work, one kick would knock it all to hell.
