Tough question. I like Superman slightly better but Batman has better villains and movies.

You all do realize that Superman is afraid of Batman?
You also realize that Superman is dumb as shit?
You also realize that Batman has fucked Superman up on many occasions?

Superman has stated that "Batman is the most dangerous man in the world."
Superman is NOT a tactician.
Batman has files on every member of the Justice League.
Simple fact that Batman has defeated Superman on MANY occasions. The Dark Knight Returns, Kingdom Come, Batman's Hush storyline, the Tower of Babel storyline brought was about the demise of the entire Justice League. Batman had files detailing how to defeat every single member should any of them become a problem. In fact, the only time I've ever seen Superman defeat Batman was in Mark Millar's Elseworlds tale Red Sun about a Soviet born Superman. And even then Batman gave him an incredibly hard time. Batman is a superior fighter. He may not be as physically strong as Superman but his prowess as a fighter is superior.
