Batman is gay. All you have to do is kill one of his little girlfriends and he looses his mind. Hes a 40 something year old man who dresses like a bat.
i'm trying to see this as democratic as possible without fighting about whose more homosexual than the other. let's see so superman is kind of that every superhero vigilante (let's face it, i don't see him with a cop badge, do you?) and has that boyscout quality to him and a shit ton of powers. Batman on the other hand is a human vigilante who uses his mind, fear, detective skills, and natural acrobatics and fighting skills. Batman is the darker character but let's face it there are plenty of Superman stories where he loses control and destroys pretty much everything in his radius. Just think of the construction bills in metropolis coming out of taxpayer's hard earned cash. Batman crashes some cars but you don't need to worry about him blowing up the city unless he has a bomb. Personally, both are righteous men who use different means, Batman still doesn't kill and superman is great as long as he keeps himself and his temper in check. therefore I will have to go with Batman because not only is he not an all powerful super humanoid, but also he really worked to get to where he is.
I like both characters but for different reasons. I find Superman to be a more interesting character. His constant desire to find acceptance in his adoptive world and his optimistic idealism is always fascinating to me. Batman as a character doesn't grab me. His villains are what keeps me buying his comics though. Batman stories are always at their best when he faces a foe that mirrors his own psychological disorders. When writers focus only on Bruce, I'm bored.
