Which Spill Movie Reviewer's Opinion Do You Value The Least And Why?

Okay, we all know we like the Spill Gang.  Yep, each and every one of'em...for the most part.  Until it comes to their reviewing styles on movies that is.  Don't get me wrong, I love their antics and how they infuse comedy with their reviews.  But, is is just me, or are the not consistent?  By that I mean there are certain movies where they'll pick apart apparent flaws in the storyline but let even more eregious errors slide on others  Like when Batman dives off the side of the building to save Rachel, he actually overtakes her and, after falling hundreds of feet (okay lets just say a hundred) lands on top of a car and both, she and her are unscathed.  Really?  Now, if that scene had been in any other movie Leon or Cyrus would've howled but, since it's the Dark Knight, they let it slide.  Now, during the movie, I let it slide because in the Batman universe you can do that and I assumed that was their rationale also but then they don't extend the same concession to other movies.  This may be more an issue with Leon and Cyrus becasue they can be the most "nit picky" of the bunch UNTIL it comes to a movie they like.  Now, I think the whole crew missed the boat on Scott Pilgrim Saves The World but that's just me.  Comments?

It's not so much that I have a "least favorite" so much as there are I days I forget he's here. That's Carlyle.

He's basically Cyrus Lite.

Carlyle runs hot and cold.  He'll say he loves a movie that's just okay and hates a movie that's okay.  I wouldn't bet my paycheck on how a review of his will read, sight unseen, whereas with Cyrus I know he's going to hate pretty much anything he sees...except for his faves.

I had that same problem in the beginning but then I grew to love him.

I like them all but Cyrus does come off kind of like a "know-it-alll" snob at times finding fault with everything.

Oh tell me about it! Some days get me kind of aggrevated because it acts like a know-it-all at times.

Yea, he can get that way at times but I actually do like Carlyle.  In particular, I like how he knows so much insider or background info on movies.  How they were made and/or the delays/story-behind-the-story.  I like the balance of the three of them on ACOCO.  On the regular reviews Leon and Cyrus appear to be enablers when it comes to trashing a movie.  If one goes ball deep the other (usually Leon) will follow suit.  They are just so critical at times I'm like, "Dude, I'm not looking for flaws that hard."  Korey is ususally the voice of reason or keeps things skewed to the middle or gives opposing points of view but he can ride the comedy train a little to hard also.  Or he is overly critical for a movie not being original enough.  I can compare almost any movie out there to some others so that's not a major concern for me as long as it's well made.  As for Cohost 3000, you just never know.

Well, I happen to like the league so there we have a minor difference of opinion.

As to Spill

The thing to remember is, this is Korey's Circus. He's the ringmaster and responsible for all of the wild animal acts he brings in and he seems to do a decent job of holding a Whip and A chair and a pistola taming   all of the Lions and Tigers and Dancing Bears.   :D

Totally agree with you on that point and I have to commend Korey on how he keeps most interview on track and provides a counter point when needed.  He's also extremely fair even on movies he doesn't particularly care for.  However, he can get on that comedy roll also sometimes.  He also gets on his soap box from time to time but that's alright with me.  He's put together a great show with an interesting cast of characters.  As for The League, like I said the main thing I have with them is they are, to my way of thnking, just overly profane for the sake of being profane.

True.  The one show I don't listen to at all is The League.  Just such arbitrary conversations and unnecessarily profane.  Don't get me wrong, I don't have any issues with profanity but they just pile the obscenities on to the point where they drone on into the conversation and don't punctuate anything.  Plus, how they go on and on and on about religion or more specifically anything hinting at Christianity.  Okay, guys we get it you don't believe in anything and find anyone who does stupid.  Do we need a disrepectful diatribe each and every time?

Uhhhh, Scot Pilgrim Saves the world?

I Like Cyrus and Leon the most because I agree with them the most. Corey and Co-host, not so much. Carlyle said that Jeniffer Aniston is hot, so fuck him. Really They all have their strengths and weaknesses, but at the end of the day you're bound to side with the one that has a taste most similar yours. The whole crew plays it pretty straight so I can't hate on any of em too much, plus they still have the most entertaining reviews on the web.

Yea, Scott Pilgrim vs The World.  Did not care for it.  I don't really care if they agree with me or not.  I just like consistency.  I don't get the Jennifer Anniston thing either (nice body though) but then again, I don't agree with half the chicks they guys say are hot to begin with.  As far as all of them playing it straight I don't recall Cyrus liking any movie lately except the Mechanic.  That said, I agree, they are the most entertaining I've heard.
ssshhhh, they're listening
