Family Guy is getting better ratings than the simpsons, so there's that.

FG isn't afraid to push the envelope and still finds new ways to make the audiences jaws drop.

However, there are plenty of episodes that just aren't funny. Some that just slap together a trite plot and clunky pop culture references.

FG has been nominated for the outstanding comedy emmy. Has the Simpsons ever been? Not to sound condescending, I'm just asking. It's probably going to lose to 30rock though; Now that's a funny show!

Family guy. The simpsons has been going downhill for years, and it's really now just about how many guest stars they can get. Although in it's heyday, the simpsons was amazing.

Family Guy if a lot funnier now, the simpsons is just over for me. No, not "Seinfeld" over, its like "Married with Children" over.
