If it's crap... We'll tell you

There are a lot of movies that make you stop and think, but which one do you think has the most meaningful concept. For me I say Crash.

It didn't make me do any of that.

I already know people are racist for silly and stupid reasons. Crash didn't open my eyes to anything.

Aside from how awful Ludacris is at acting, I mean.

For me it's Trainspotting. That movie let me know that I can change and that I didn't owe a fucking thing to most of my piece of shit friends. I wanted the big fucking television and tax exemption. The end made me feel like anything was possible. Now I'll look ahead till the day I die.

I am not really sure what you mean by "meaningful concept", seems to broad to me, but based on the interpretation I choose to make; Rabbit Proof Fence was the first one that came to mind.

"A Clockwork Orange"

Which is also one of the only films I can think of that leaves the doesn't shove the attitudes and values of the filmmaker down the viewers throats. It simply says: "Heres a dispicable, selfish, infant-minded human being. He's just had his free will taken away from him by the powers that be. Do you, the viewer, think this is right or not?", leaving the message that the viewer take away from the film, stricly down to the viewer themselves. I know plenty of people who view what happened to Alex as an act of facism of the state and therefore, as a bad thing. Whereas some people think that Alex deserved what happened to him, I mean would you want to worry about a guy like that invading your home?

I dont know about most meaningful, i suppose it depends on the person watching it but Akira Kurosawa's film Ran was pretty meaningful.

The day after (That's 1983, not The Day After Tomorrow 2004)
No movie has ever scared me as much as this. There will be no mad max world, just dieing people, dieing because they are still alive. Not a movie I want to watch again, yet I still own it, and watch it if others want to see it.

Schindler's List and The Pianist for the same ( and hopefully obvious) reason.
