If it's crap ... We'll tell you
Arsène Lupin the Third posted a statusMost of the time I buy my games through Amazon.com since they have release date shipping and I don't have to worry about annoying upsells. For PC I usually go through Steam or a similar digital distribution program. If I want a game now that's already out I might hit up Best Buy or GameStop. Usually try to avoid GameStop though since I don't really agree with the way they treat their employee's or the used game trade in general.
Where do you go for your gaming fix?

Permalink Reply by Guy LaDouche's Intern on February 21, 2011 at 12:35pm Amazon or sometimes ebay...I do like the free get it on release date shipping. I used to go to Gamestop but the I am sick of them fucking up my pre-orders. I PREORDERED Dead Spaces 2 collections edition. I go to pick it up on the release date and they say oh they sold out go to another store and they MIGHT have a copy. I asked for a refund and just ordered on Amazon. I didn't get the gamestop rivet gun but who cares the javelin gun does the job just fine. Plus, I hate their trade-outs. $24 for COD: Black ops (Mint, no smudges or scratches at all) then sell it pre-owned for 49.99. I laughed at the guys face and said he was racist he would probably do a better trade if the game was called COD White Ops. I just did it just to be silly plus I was upset at the ridiculous trade-out.
Well I don't know if I can feel sorry about the employees cause the level of service I have been getting from gamestop stop they need to getting cane like they are in singapore.

Permalink Reply by One Inch Punch on February 21, 2011 at 9:21pm Amazon is definitely the best option for most gamers. Low prices, near perfect pre-order reliability, potentially free shipping with the right kind of membership, plenty of game purchase tie-in deals with the website (free monies) an okay credit system and the ability to sell your games through Amazon if you think you can beat their credit deals. Hell, sometimes the only way you can get lower prices for the use of a game is to rent it out instead.
Gamestop's trade in prices are laughable, really. They exist to sucker in people too lazy to see how much their stuff is really worth. Fair enough, I guess. It's hard to hate on a business taking advantage of the dumb. Even though I did hear of some skeezy dealings where a certain Gamestop took all of the Playstation games from an enormous library....even though the games were turned in by the man's very young son. That's pretty shitty.

Other instances, gamestop.
