I don't really know where I can buy comic books in my town and obviously i cant describe the whole town to you so please give me some ideas to where I might be able to buy some comics besides just a comic book store which i think my town only has one of and it's pretty small.

Try large book stores. They can have large comic sections. Barnes and Noble and the like.

This site has a great comic book store locator. Just enter your zip. There may be more shops in your area then you are aware of

Midtown comics is a great online comic book shop. And amazon has always worked great for me

If you are looking to save money you'd be surprised what you could find at your local library

And as the guy above me mentioned alot of those big chain book stores such as Barnes and Noble and Borders have a pretty decent comic book selection.
You might also want to try The Master List. I actually just used it yesterday because my local shop shut own.
