I reffer here to seasons 12 and 13 because I for one found them incredibly unfunny and boring. They didn't have that South Park feeling and humor to it.I only found 3 maybe 4 episodes funny from those seasons.
Really the only episode I remember being funny from the last two seasons was the China Problem episode where they were talking about the new Indiana Jones movie. Other then that it's just been really meh and nowhere near as funny as it use to be. I can't remember the last really funny episode...maybe the Imagination Land episodes? I dunno.
As far as the return of season 13 the dead celebrities one was kind of funny but the Butters one I think I might of chuckled once and I usually find the Butters episodes pretty good. Maybe it just needs more Cartman or something. I'm just finding myself less and less interested in the show and just not caring like Simpsons a few years ago and Family Guy when it came back from being cancelled.
They've become just so much more explicit in anything they show. I noticed that while watching an older episode on TV yesterday. It's sadly not so funny and provocative anymore, just more graphic with people engaging in sexual acts or shitting in each others faces.
The newer episodes aren't as funny but it's not like they're bad. The last time I laughed REALLY hard at South Park was either the Imaginationland episode or the Indy 4 episode
I personally think the show has really taken off since about season 6. I love that they get more on current events and I think they have gotten funnier. I have watched every episode when it came out since I was in 8th grade. I followed it all and its still one of my favorite shows. I know its no longer everyones cup of tea, but I for one think they are still hilarious.
I agree it just hasn't made me laugh like it used to. I think the PIMP episode with Butters was really funny though. I think maybe it's about the shock of the show and it was so edgy when if first came out. People would say I can't believe they did that on TV. It just doesn't have that edge anymore because were used to the cursing and toilet humor, it cant shock us anymore.
The following is a collection of unbelievably stupid questions asked from parents going to Alvin & the Chipmunks 2. They were too numerous to just isolate into one long blog. Seriously.
