If it's crap... We'll tell you

David

What's your "I did not care for the Godfather" movie?

Inspired by that bit from Family Guy, are there any movies hailed as some of the best ever but you never really cared for?

For me, personally, I'll admit I didn't find E.T. all that special.

The Godfather - I understand why people like it, but I just found it boring and couldn't get into it.
2001: A Space Odyssey - I liked it, but did I think it was revolutionary or amazing...not really
Napoleon Dynamite - Everyone I know loves this movie, I didn't find it funny, cute, or sweet.

The last two movies of the Bourne trilogy; I thought they were rather boring.

I thought the last one was boring but Supremacy? really?

The biggest one for me is Citizen Kane. I've watched it a couples times but it just does seem like the greatest movie ever made to me.

E.T. I thought it was a little too sappy.

The Untouchables and The Usual Suspects.

These movies had their own "charm" I guess, but I don't care to see them again and give them a rental rating.
Vertigo, Its a wonderful life, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Star Trek {2009}, the dark knight, raising arizona,

Slumdog Millionaire
Ferris Bueller's Day Off (I read the screenplay before seeing the movie, and I LOOOOOOVED the screenplay. The movie disappointed me...)
2001: A Space Odyssey - I gotta agree with Brock.... I liked it. but besides the cinematography, I don't think it was as amazing as most people think.
Temple of Doom - I don't understand why people think it's the best Indy film =/

About Temple of Doom, almost nobody thinks that one is the best. Everyone always picks Raiders of the Lost Ark and occasionally The Last Crusade as their favorite.

Hmm... Maybe its just the people I know, then. I often get crap because I don't like Temple of Doom...

Oh well. Thanks, Xendinthian!

I am proud to say that I am one of the few people that liked The Last Crusade just a tiny bit more then Raiders of The Lost Ark. I don't know why I do, I just do.
