What's your "I did not care for the Godfather" movie?

Inspired by that bit from Family Guy, are there any movies hailed as some of the best ever but you never really cared for?

For me, personally, I'll admit I didn't find E.T. all that special.

The Godfather......
I gotta admit, I don't like Citizen Kane very much. I know people say it's THE single greatest movie ever made, but I just don't think so.
I think Citizen Kane is great even by today's standards. But, I think it was a film of its time, and while its STILL excellent by today's standards, its not AS EXCELLENT as it was back in 1942.
Yeah I'm with ya there about citizen kane, it was ok i guess. And it is so dated now too; it was definitely a movie of its age.
I think Citizen Kane is more revered because of it's use of revolutionary film techniques, that back when it was released were not commonplace
I agree. The first time I saw Citizen Kane I couldn't help thinking of all the different ways I've seen it parodied over the years (and I finally understood the references! "So that's where the spinning newspapers thing comes from!") Back when it was first released it was groundbreaking cinematography -- now, watching it, the material tends to feel tired because those same techniques have been used and overused (and parodied) to death in subsequent movies and on tv.
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
Totally agree with this. Supposed to be a masterpiece but i honestly got bored within the first 20 minutes.
Well to be fair, the first 20 minutes ARE boring. It's not until the half-hour mark when it becomes interesting.

Worthy movie! Agree...

i totally agree with you on 2001: a space odyssey, it was fucking boring at it didnt make that much sense to me.
It's an artsy film. What do you expect? lol
