Permalink Reply by The Dogwelder on May 29, 2011 at 9:44pm I recently bought Watchmen hardcover just to reread it.
Best decision ever.
Permalink Reply by Knightfall on June 20, 2011 at 9:07pm The last graphic novels I bought we're at Philly Comic Con 2011 last Saturday. I bought Batman & Robin Volume 3:Batman & Robin Must Die which is a series that takes place after Batman Battle For The Cowl. The Joker returns and so does The Black Glove. Batman(Dick Grayson) must stop the newest Robin(Batman and Talia Al Ghul's Son Damien) from killing The Joker the same way The Joker killed the 2nd Robin Jason Todd who ends up becoming an evil Batman with guns in this arc in Grant Morrison's Batman series. This volume kicks up the darkness and insanity up a notch and by up a notch I mean the insanity and darkness is pratically out of control by this time in the arc.
I bought Fantastic Four Volume 3 which is the next to last graphic novel that covers the end of the original Fantastic Four comic book series before the sequel Fantastic Four comic book series "FF" starts.
I also bought The Amazing Spider-Man The Gauntlet Volume 2:Rhino & Mysterio. After defeating Electro & Sandman Spider-Man must face off againest The Rhino plus Mysterio who has Silvermane made into a half mech and put under his control. Plus Hammerhead and Mr.Negative join in on the Spidey bashing.
Lastly I bought Super Soldier Steve Rogers which is the beginning of the original Captain America's new adventures as his new hero identity known as "Super Soldier". Super Soldier must face off againest Machinesmith and stop the rest of the Super Soldier Serum from being used to create an army of super soldiers stronger then Steve Rogers himself.
I also bought Brightest Day Volume Two,the 5th Blackest Night Graphic Novel "Blackest Night Black Lantern Corps Volume Two", and finally the 6th Blackest Night Graphic Novel "Blackest Night Rise of the Black Lanterns".
