I read about the Buffy remake here on Spill and noticed, there's a lot of Buffy fans here, so I'wondering what show do you like more, Buffy or Angel?
I say Angel, just due to it being more fun and not always dragging out the idea that women are better than men in every way possible, it's cool if they think that but just make a cool show and put your manifesto in sparsely and not almost every epidode. But I have to say Buffy's Hush episode is one of my favorite hours of television.
I'll have to ask my wife, she has seen both series multiple times. But, there wouldn't have been Angel without Buffy. I can say that my favorite episode from the two series came from Angel, the Puppet episode was fuckin' hilarious. You're a bloody puppet. Spike was much more fun in Angel.
That was an all time classic. Got to admit that I wasn't a fan of seeing Spike joining the team at first. Would even go as far to say it was retarted as hell. But it was this ep and others that changed my mind on him.
That's one of the many cool things about Angel it made okay characters cool as hell. I wish Xander could've switched over to Angel instead of losing his eye continuing to be a pretty ineffective character, the Buffy show really dealt him a shit hand.
I know. What was the point of that? lol. I loved the Caleb character though. The evil preist who did it to him. But man... why? lol
I'm almost tempted to say Xander wouldn't 't fit in Angel. But I said the excat same thing about Wesley to a mate. As we now know, I was wrong on that one. lol
So now I wonder what kind of badass Xander would have turned out to be? Least we'd still have both his eyes...
THANK U. I was trying like a bastard to remember his name. lol. He really was the last true Buffy villain. I found the previous ones to be quite lame. Willow good but I'm still not sure if it was as good as some say.
In case you don't know here's a clip of the show.
