Neg Primer posted a statusToday's generation of TV is some what great(HBO and others) and today's generation of video games are great too, so what game would you like to be a TV show? Just think about your favorite game getting an animated or Live action TV series.
Mines: Metroid and Legend of Zelda(if done correctly) and probably Bat-Man: Arkham (series)
Who know's it could be done, just look at Pokemon it's still going strong for a full decade.

Permalink Reply by Clearsky38 on August 3, 2012 at 7:35pm Metal Gear Solid, I think would do better as a TV series because of the complex story elements.
Fall Out, not any specific game but the universe it's set in would make for an interesting show with lots of possibilities.
Permalink Reply by Clearsky38 on August 3, 2012 at 8:43pm I don't know, defiantly not David Hayter as much as I like the guy I feel he's past his prime to play snake. I would like him to be involved but the role should go to a younger unknown actor.

Permalink Reply by Arsène Lupin the Third on August 3, 2012 at 9:14pm and you should know that with high budget shows that they would want to cast to type...kinda like Ned stark being sean bean they cast the perfect guy.
Permalink Reply by Clearsky38 on August 4, 2012 at 12:53am I'm thinking not good, but then again MGS wasn't really about graphic violence and sex. But it would have to be dumbed way down for the average middle class prime time viewing demographic.
Permalink Reply by Arsène Lupin the Third on August 7, 2012 at 8:34pm if it was ever on NBC you already know NOT to care as they would have to cut like half the deaths and dead bodie
Permalink Reply by DHood90 on August 3, 2012 at 7:56pm Mass Effect. Think if they ever made this, it'd need to be a mini-series with HBO money behind it.

Street fighter: As done by the guys who did Legacy, They are getting a web series but those will probably be only 10 to 15 minutes long each ep.
Infamous: With the 100s of conduits that exist and the fact that there's already alternate timelines/universes involved, (as brought in by Infamous 1) this could be an anthology series of active conduits or a Heroes done right/American verison of misfits.(only reason I don't say alphas is because their powers are on the less flashy side)
Metal Gear series: This could be a few different things, this could be the AC!D Universe post-AC!D 2, the time inbetween Peace Walker and Metal Gear 1 (the 8bit one) with Big Boss forming Outer Heaven and raising Snake and Grey Fox. Or it could be the aftermath of 4 and be about a world after Solid Snake.
Resident Evil Outbreak: a group of survivors in the resident evil world trying to escape mutated creatures and zombies
Eternal Darkness: an anthology series of people fighting Lovecraftian and other worldy horrors
Vampire the Masquerade/requiem: With all the vampire series out I think it's time white wolf brought back the franchise to the small screen.Kindred the Embraced was their first attempt, but one of their lead actors and the viewers favorite died in a horrific car crash causing them to cancel it before they filmed the second season. The main draw will be the vampire clans which unlike other vampire fiction are visually and characteristically different (Some are quick to violence, one clan is incurably insane, others look like count Orlok)
For Animation:
Splatterhouse: picking up where the 2010 game left off, it's the further adventures of rick taylor trying to free his girlfriend from the hands of Doctor west and the corrupted only backed up by the morally gray and possibly antagonistic terror(/devil in japan) mask. It's got to be an adult swim series.
Bully: the T for Teen GTA series going fully animated following the further adventures of Jimmy Hopkins or other kids in similar situations as jimmy was in.
Gotham City Impostors: they've already done shorts(Beast boy voice the main guy) before so just expanding that to it's own series would do great.
Brutal Legend: Picking up from the end of the game there's so many things you can do with this as a series all you really need to do is take a genre of music and mix it with some fantasy setting (the original Brutal Legend had Metal and Conan-eqse swords & sorcery, Hair Metal & Norse mythos, Industrial goth and Lovecraftian fiction.)
A few others off the cuff:
Castlevania, Final Fight, NeverDead(will work better than the game did for damn sure), Killzone(there's a lot you can explore in that universe), X-com (either the FPS reboot or the original/reboot RTS series), Shadow man, and Psychonauts.
