It's just an internet forum. Always use the rubber/glue mentality and don't let things like trolls and flamers bother you. However, you should also try to be as respectful as possible to those you respond to, because in any forum you risk waking a sleeping giant by throwing the first punch.

 

Other than that, just relax man. It's not the end of the world if a few people on an internet forum don't respond well to you.

Meh. It happens  on here. On all  internet  fourms.  I'd agree with those  who  say  you need to  chill and not take it so personal.  And  this IS coming  from someone who  when I first  joined  probably pissed and moan when someone called me on my shit too many  times.

 

But, you adapt. See it  for what it is, and  damn sure what it isn't. 

 

Plus... you say  you want to be  film critic? If I am correct  here, then I'd  suggest  you  grow  thicker skin becasue  to be a pro critic is to have people. Fans  calling you out. Calling you names. That  willl no  doubt happen more than  people  agreeing with you.

 

But  for now.  Water off the back, and don't leave the site  either.  It's as  dramtic a move as it is a hit to your goals as a movie  critic.

im sorry, but you came to an internet forum thinking that everybody would be nice and respectful? and especially a film website, which is filled with divisive opinions. bullshit, my friend. EVERYONE on here takes a lashing at some point, whether its Hector for his random optomistic thoughts on films he hasnt seen yet, me for my thoughts on Batman Begins and Christopher Nolan, or Mason Daniel for his thoughts on the Star Wars prequels (btw motherfucker, you still owe me a debate on those prequels :P) the point is, no one hates anyone on here for their opinions, cause thats the beauty of this site: its a melting pot of film tastes and critique. at the end of the day, we're still friends (well, most of us). dont take the flame so seriously
