What should Resident Evil 6 be about

Well, considering where the story structure is going so far, here's the logical progression:

A kangaroo-scorpion zombie takes over a cracker factory. Chris and bland black girl (Sheva) go in to investigate only to find Wesker somehow still surviving even after that god damn ridiculous volcano fight. It's revealed soon after that the Kangaroo is in fact Leon S. Kennedy, but infected with a virus. After Chris and blank mcblank blank find a cure made of cheese and spare pennies for Leon, he's restored to his human self, but doesn't do anything else as a character in the rest of the story. Wesker reveals his overly complex plot to high jack the cracker factory to distribute his own brand of crackers; with people buying his product, he will have enough funds to rule the world. Chris and ______ fight Wesker in a pitch black cave, but Wesker refuses to remove his glasses to signify how bad ass he is. After a trip to outerspace, the duo kill Wesker who reveals himself to Chris' real father; Wesker then dies proclaiming that he will be dead forever, unless fans demand his return in the sequel. Chris and (insert name here) ride a helicopter into the sunset with Leon. Suddenly, Leon rips off his mask revealing himself to actually be Wesker. DUN DUN DUN. The End?

I'm sorry, but looking for a story in Resident Evil is like looking for the reason that President Obama received the Nobel Peace Prize. It just isn't there.

As much as I love Resident Evil I kinda want it to be finished with 5... it wrapped up what was left of the strained story and left it so its far too hard to go back to the awesome original zombies :[

I would make Chris and Jill the mains. I would end it where it begun. Raccoon City. Maybe the place wasn't destroyed like everyone thought? And now you have to fight your way through an urban hell loaded with decade old corpses that behave like OLD SCHOOL ZOMBIES DAMN IT! But its also been converted to the most secure prision on earth where they detain all the people with knowledge of all the T-virus infections. Same place they'd put the guys who've beat a Predator.
Toss in a government cover up, some UBCS, Spec Ops, every old character ever and a big final show down after a high speed chase through the woods to the ruins of the mansion.

That's my ten cent pitch. My only consolation is they won't steal it. We'll probably wind up in another foreign country that is dirty and desolate and old fighting things with parasites that all look and act the same. At least the cut scenes will be cool.

I would like Resident Evil to cease as a series as I have felt that the plot is overworked and has been milked to almost completion. However if you were to ask me...
It should be something along the lines of a Prequel, we can call it Resident Evil -1 and it can tell of the happenings before 0 and Code Veronica. Actually I would want the game to be more like Code Veronica. Sure the story is bad when you compare it to most games but I feel when you look at the Resident Evil games as a whole it has the best story. That or remake and rework the Outbreak games. Having actually played them online (before online was popular) I thought there was something special about those games that could be fully realized in this era of online play. I mean simple voice chat would have raised the game to new heights but I can think of several other modifications that could help. Outbreak was Left 4 Dead before Left 4 Dead existed. Sure it was not as action packed as Left 4 Dead but it really made you feel like you were in an old Romero film...well one that had been influenced by Shinji Mikami.

it should go back to old time camera angles with re4 and 5 aiming onley you can move when you aim and the story...well im not sure just change the gameplay and MAKE IT SCAR AGAIN and ill be happy

I love RE 4 and 5, but there just not scary.
They should bring back oldskool Residentevil.

As much as I like RE5, I don't like linear games much anymore. I'll toss this idea out there and people might think I'm nuts but I would like a wide open game world that is completely destroyed and infested with zombies. Sort of like fallout 3 only much more difficult.

Be a good guy or a bad guy its up to you. Ally with Stars and try and stem the tide, research a cure, raid umbrella research facilities, military bases and etc. Or ally with Umbrella and get genetic upgrades for raiding/infecting the few remaining settlements.

If you can come up with a good concept, I don’t see why RE6 can’t be a kickass game. RE4 and RE5 were both very good; although they were too easy in my opinion. Make the games harder. Make playing the game on difficult suicidal.
