If it's crap... We'll tell you

Kyle P. H.

What is your favorite game that gets no recognition?

A game that you played and enjoyed a lot but never hear about anymore.

Mine would probably be Startopia, an old Dungeon Keeper clone on the PC that came out in 2001. Basically, you enter the role of a space station owner and have to build it up to attract different types of aliens as workers and tourists. It is really simple to play but a lot of fun, and you get the satisfaction of seeing your space station grow and flourish. It's a shame that the game isn't played much anymore, it was a ton of fun.

How about others?

Though it's not a mind blowingly incredable game, I still liked Federation Vs. Zeon, and say that it's one of the better anime based games out there.

another game I think didn't get enough recognition was a dungeon crawler for the ds called Etrian Odyssey.

Yeah, it was a ridicously "Ye Olden Schoole" RPG, but that was one of the things I liked about it.

I'm going to have to say dark cloud for now I absolutely adored the game when I was younger and would be glad to play it again either that or I'm going to say Pyschonauts

Yes, Psychonauts was wonderful. I had the chance to meet Tim Schafer and crew when they visited my school a few years ago. Class act all the way, he even signed my Grim Fandango CD. I remember him demoing the game and I sat behind him watching. I said, "This game is going to make a million dollars." And he replied, "I certainly hope so." Damn that guy's cool, I'd love to work for him.

I think Psyschonauts went the way it did because of its publisher, Majesco, who more or less wrote it off. But now that EA has picked up publishing rights to Brutal Legend, that game is going to be a smash hit.

This is for Spillers who like going out regularly like myself. From now on I will regularly organize nights out with other Spillers and we'll do a pub crawl, go bar hopping or go out clubbing. These are not Spill Parties. These are Spill Outs

Matt, Jack, & Jon are three eloquent young gents. They philosophize, externalize, and harmonize on the most pressing subjects of the modern age. Actually, they mostly just talk about movies and current events, but the presentation is what counts.
