Mine are:

I live in the next town away from where Roald Dahl used to live

I was born in the same town as Aaron Johnson from Kick Ass and James Corden (not sure if many Americans know who he is though)

I'm apparently related to Elton John

What is your claim(s) to fame?, good or lame ones, it doesn't really matter.

Springfield is the home of Dr. Suess and the Basketball Hall of Fame.
My hometown is the hometown of both the original bassist and the current guitarist of Disturbed.

My grandma, by some weird way that I can't remember right now, is related to George Wendt

Brother Rice High School (A catholic school near my house) is the alma mater of John C. Reilly.

Rob Mackowiak attended my high school.

Pat Sajak lived in my hometown

Kanye West attended high school in my hometown. (not something I am especially proud of)

Uhhh......that's pretty much it.
Oh yeah, My grandma met Helen Keller.
I would much rather have Kanye live in my town (hell, even my house) before having the band members of Disturbed within a hundred miles of me.
Oh......well, I don't really have a choice....and it's not like they live here now......

You know, I never really understood anyone's hatred for Disturbed. Yeah, everyone is entitled to their own opinion and stuff, but I don't get why so may people just downright hate them.

I mean, if you're gonna pick on an overrated metal band, pick on one that has it coming.

True, and not only do they suck, but they steal too.

Come on, just try and tell me that the intro isn't the exact same thing:

You are preaching to the metal choir with this stuff.

Of course I have heard the complaints about Lamb of God, but, despite everything that is bad about them, they are still one thousand times better than Disturbed.

You guys are comparing mediocrity to down right shit.

With the arguments you guys are making the band Overkill is worse than Kiss because, even though Kiss wrote songs that make you want to pull your fingernails out, Overkill copied some guitar riffs from Exodus, and "DOOD! THAT SHIT AIN'T COOL!"
Haha yes, along with John C Reilly, Brother Rice is also the alma mater of such greats as Michael Flatley, Ed Olczyk (former NHL star and now commentator), David Diehl (Giants Offensive lineman), and the ever so talented Timmy Cupcakes. :D
Brother Rice? Alma Mater of the Lord of the Dance?!??!?!

My hometown is the hometown of sum 41.
since i forgot i could do provinces, then:

dan ackroyd, jim carrey, will arnett, mike myers, eugene levy, john candy, michael cera, martin short, phil hartman, wayne gretzky, bobby orr, alex trebek, howie mandel, rush, billy talent, paul anka, illscarlett and bryan adams are just a few of the few celebrities that are from ontario.
Saoirse Ronan used to be in my class.
