Michael Eisner happened to Disney for years. Then the company got wise and booted that bum's ass out. Now that John Lasseter is in charge, we're getting stuff like Bolt and the return of 2D cel with Princess and the Frog. They even announced a new Canon Winnie the Pooh movie for 2011.
am i the only one who didn't like lilo and stitch?
and i think they're doing anything for money.
explain all the straight to dvd sequels to me. they are running low on movie sales so they put any shit they can together and sell it.
Home on the Range, and Treasure Planet happened, in a row. Disney made a vow to only concentrate on 3d animation after that. This is slowly reversing I hear.
after disney made some box-office flops, it was really bad news for the animation department. so they tapped into the cash mine of "bitchy tween girls" instead. Meanwhile disney bought pixar and brought in john lasseter to head up animation and hopefully bring disney back to its former glory. they released bolt wich was a critical and financial success and they're releasing princess and the frog back in 2d.
