Charmingman93 posted a statusOk, I labeled this as "comic book universe", but it pretty much counts as a game topic just as much. I have a lot of ideas for the future of the Batman: Arkham game series, and I'm curious what other people think. I want to know what other people want to see in these games, or felt the first two lacked. For all the comic book fans, type away.
SPOILER ALERTS for Batman: Arkham City and current Batman comic
I want the main villains to be Ra's al Guel, Talia, Scarecrow, Man-Bat, Red Hood, Black Mask, Killer Croc, Hush, Harley Quin, and the Jokers return in the main storyline (if Mark Hamill changes his mind and comes back, of course). Also, Damian Wayne's storyline could work in the game (the current Robin, and the child of Bruce and Talia).
Hush's cameo clearly implied he would have a major role in the next game, and a hidden message showed Scarecrow would return with a vengeance. We haven't seen Man-Bat at all in this series, and he could be a good boss fight. Since we didn't have him at all in the first two games, I don't think a side mission would be enough, we should have to fight him in the storyline at some point. Since we never REALLY fought Croc in Asylum, and he only got a cameo in Arkham City, a real boss fight with him would be cool. As for Joker, his return would simply be awesome if it happened. And with Ra's al Guel, it wouldn't be difficult resurrecting Joker anyways. Harley, however (to those who completely beat Arkham City) is pretty much guaranteed a return.
To those who don't know, the villain Red Hood is Jason Todd, the second Robin. He was killed by the Joker. After getting resurrected by Talia, Jason became the villain/anti hero Red Hood (Joker used to go by the name Red Hood before he fell in acid and became the Joker).
The only big villains we haven't seen at all are Red Hood, Deathstroke, Firefly, and Man-bat (well, with Clock King, Killer Moth and Cluemaster for some). I think Red Hood could work well in the main plot of the game, with the others in side missions (with characters like Black Mask, Scarface, Azrael and Deadshot getting expanded roles as well).
Lucius Fox should be prominently featured in the game. As for Nightwing and Oracle, it would be cool to see their history. And for the fans, the current Batwoman could be introduced as well. By the end of the game, the Batman family (in the Arkham series) could consist of Batman, Oracle, Nightwing, Robin (Damian Wayne), Red Robin (Tim Drake), and Batwoman. Well, and then there's Catwoman.
I don't have any ideas for a main plot or motive of the game, but the characters Damian Wayne, Ra's al Ghuel, Talia, Red Hood, and Joker could work REALLY well together in one game. Their story's all intertwine, they would just WORK in the same game. I think this would be best focus for a third entry. So, that's the general idea I would like a third entry in the Batman: Arkham series to be.
Anyone who has any other ideas for this game series, feel free to type away :)

I think it would be cool if like the main story line you play as Batman but if Dick, Jason and Tim all had their own side missions and you could play as them.
I'd like to fight Hush, that'd be pretty cool.
A legit fight against Killer Croc
A legit fight against The Riddler
Maybe see how Jason goes from Robin to Red Hood and fight him?
A legit fight against Two-Face
Stuff like that!
Permalink Reply by Nick on January 11, 2013 at 1:38pm Did anyone notice that in Arkham City when you meet Robin, It was Tim Drake (3rd Robin) wearing Damians suite (4th Robin) with the hood, and when Oracle starts talking to Batman Robin goes "Barb, it's so good to hear your voice." Thats something that Dick (1si Robin) would say, not Tim.
Permalink Reply by Robert Wild on January 11, 2013 at 4:39pm I think the Robin suit is a combination of the second (red and black) Tim Drake costume and Damian Wayne's suit (like the hood). Also, Dick wore Tim Drake's first suit (from the comics) in the animated series, so changing the costumes isn't really out of the ordinary.
As for "Barb, it's good to hear your voice" it makes more since for Dick to say that, but, Tim has been known to flirt and stuff in the past.
