If it's crap... We'll tell you

I Thought there should be a thread where we can all could discuss books we are currently reading, recently read, or are planning to read. Feel free to provide your own recommendations/opinions about books you like/dislike.

Right now, I'm reading The Rum Diary by Hunter S. Thompson. It's no Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, but still a good read. He hadn't fully developed his Gonzo approach when he wrote it, more Hemingway than Hunter.

I recently got done re-reading the novelization of "Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith" and is that a bad ass book. If they had made that book the film, it would have been amazing.

I am currently listening to (yes it's an audio book) EARTHCORE it's a Scott Sigler book, it's an awesome mix of horror and sci-fi (plus it's completely free on I-Tunes)
Scott Sigler is definately my favorite author, check out SCOTT SIGLER FAN CLUB in groups if you like him
sorry if I sound like a spammer

I've heard of him, but never read or listened to his books. I know he got known by podcasting his books on the internet, but that's about it.

Now starting Cujo.
Thoughts: A shotgun could save these people a lot of trouble.
But then again, the damn dog has only killed one person so far.

I Hate your Guts by Jim Norton. Its funny as Hell!

I'm about halfway through Bright Lights, Big City. It's okay. I kind of find the second-person narrative to be a bit gimmicky.

Cujo was okay. Carrie was good.
Starting IT.
It's a paperback so the paper is thin as hell. Gonna have to stick with it.

A lot of people didn't like Cujo. King said in an interview that he was using so much drugs at the time that he doesn't remember writing it.

Wow. That's a much better story than Cujo's.

Just started Neuromancer by William Gibson.

Skipping IT, going to The Shining.
Damn, even though my profile's inspired by him, I haven't really read much King until now.
