Went to see LEGION. Not what I expected.
I expected more of a bible thumping kinda flick. Mmmm... Not so much. There's a little bit of doe eyed God gaga in it. iI's really closer to a mild Sci-fi pic. I always liked the mythology of the angels. Most people will have to get past the whole why does God have to do everthing the hard way. Once you watch through to the end you'll get the whole " moral" of the story bit. The angel duel is pretty good. Love that morningstar Gabriel has. I hope that if God does decide to wipe us out someone has faith enough in us to help us out.
I give it a C+ aka rental. You arent losing anything by watching this at home.

It was ironic that Bettany had two films released at the same time: Creation, the story of Charles Darwin that many of the Mormon power in Hollywood tried to block from being distributed but gun totting angels had no problems getting backing. I'm kind of shocked this comic book was adapted for the big screen.
