When did you first read the graphic novel/ mini-series or whatever? I finished reading it for the first time yesterday night. It was REALLY intense for a 13 year nerd like me, but I got through it.
I read about 2/3 of it in a night and morning while in and on my way back from Chicago in September of 2007, then I finished the rest off and on during the week. Quite intense; I have a picture of me on the plane reading the Dr. Manhattan chapter (I might've read it faster if not for the in-between chapter goodies).
It took Watchmen (which is fiction) for you to see that your problems were pretty small and not real life situations like kids dying of AIDS in Africa?
I said I was 17. Who wasn't an arrogant teenager? What I was trying to say was that I didn't start asking heavy existential questions about my own life until I read Watchmen. Geez.
Do you want me to start counting? Yes, I have done a lot of reading. Some of my favorite novels are On The Road, Rabbit, Run, Slaughter House Five, The Bell Jar, and Of Mice and Men.

Harry: "I'm scared, professor."
Harry is next for the first task.

Christmas with my parents. It's quiet this year with my parents and oldest sister compared with the madhouse last year when my other sister, her husband, their daughter, my brother and his long-term girlfriend were part of the mix.
Quiet, yet I can…
