As you people already watch Watchmen and The Dark Knight and these two films don't just rely on that old standby -- being "dark" and "edgy" -- they also take their subject matter into truly adult territory, not just in terms of sex and violence (as in Watchmen in particular) but also in theme. The superhero movie has grown up this past year, and it's Snyder and Christopher Nolan who we can thank for that.
So tell me which one is better and why ?

and it was cool seeing him in action and his stories unfold onscreen

I read a few Batman comics when I was younger, but didn't read the Watchmen graphic novel. I've been a long time fan of stuff like the Batman cartoon series and Justice League animated series, as well as...most of the movies. I thought the Dark Knight movie was down right awesome and while I enjoyed Watchmen, I didn't think it was anything amazing like I did with Dark Knight. So I say Dark Knight over Watchmen. I do feel like giving Watchmen a second viewing though and I really want to read the graphic novel.
