If it's crap... We'll tell you

Okay, so I noticed a few similarities between these two movies:
1.) Both are adapted from a comic series.
2.) There are a few big and small changes in being adapted from the original work that may seem controversial.
3.) A lot of people think they'll suck.
4.) The original material is more plot oriented (were talking Dragon Ball, not Dragon Ball Z).
5.) Both have been in development hell.

Really this is just an excuse to get people talking about these two movies and what their gripes are about the various changes they've made from the original work.

Oh, and I know its really called "manga" so don't feel the need to point that out.

Dragon Ball was a series of episode long fight scenes in my opinion. It doesn't hold a candle to watchmen.
The changes made to dragon ball are a lot more drastic than the ones that watchmen has been put through

I agree, especially when you think about what happened to poor Goku. And where the hell is his tail?

It got lost in the whole "appeal to the hip kids who go on the computers that scare us" part of production

I think that Watchmen will be better than Dragon Ball, especially since the film doesn't really feel like Dragon Ball, it looks more like a shitty live action superhero show. I got issues with Watchman to but I got a feeling that I'll still try and see it opening day, While I'll only thank whatever god exists for never haveing to see Dragon Ball Evolution.

Dude...Thats just stupid. Even though I'll be the only person in this site thats hyped about Dragonball LAM, but comparing it to Watchmen? Thats like comparing it to Pokemon the first movie to The Dark Knight.

Watchmen level is WAAAAAAAAAYYYY to high. If your going to compare Dragonball to a movie, compare it to Street Fighter new movie, Hellboy 2 or whatever, but Watchmen? No. If your going to compare Watchmen to a movie, compare it to TDK.

Oh, I'm not a hater for this Dragonball film, pretty much I'm the only guy thats a little hyped for this film. But don't compare something thats so Big to something thats not even getting any love.

I'm excited for both, but I'm still retaining some cautious optimism. Watchmen hasn't been altered too much, but I could give a huge list of all the things about Dragonball that bother me. I'm not too concerned about Watchmen though, I think it's gonna turn out to be great.
I am such a huge fan of Dragonball, and I'm hyped about the movie, but I can't help but feel a slight sense of dread.

I dread both but at least a bad watchmen film won't be teabagging a portion of my childhood.

I'm really trying hard not to laugh at this , where do I start ?? probably that Watchmen does not deserve to be compare to dragon ball .

Where is Chig Champa ?? I will love to see his opinion on this
