Dude, the director's cut is already 3 hours and Black Freighter is 30 minutes. Are you really going to watch a 3 1/2 hour version of Watchmen?

There are very few movies I'll spend more than three hours watching. The Godfather Part 2 is one of them. Watchmen is not.

Hmmm...yeah.

Is it something that I'm going to watch whenever I'm bored? No. I really enjoyed the Lord of the Rings films but they aren't the most enjoyable films to view. But I do own them. The same thing goes for Watchmen.

Yeah you can't reallt just sit down and watch it, I struggle to get round to watch a 2 hour movie, its just a bit stredus

Apparently if you pre-order from WB's website you get Black Freighter for $5.

For five bucks, it's worth the watch. It's pretty good. But there really isn't a whole lot on the DVD.

Well, I saw that a lot of people were pissed about the movie and Zach Snyder was going to release a directors cut in theaters for limited release.

OK I just got done watching the extended dvd version(180 minutes) and i have to say that the additional scenes ruined the filmed to a higher degree, i wont spoil these scenes but they had nothing to do with the original story, they even show a damn flat screen tv in the 80's. Goddammit!

I have to disagree with that since the main problem with the original theatrical version is that some of the scenes felt too choppy and the extended cut fixes alot of pacing problems the original version had.
