I think that this is one of those movies that will only work well with unknown actors.

...Although I did just get the image of a Michael Moore Pennywise. Maybe Christian Bale can come on and scream about how much the sewer smells.

They should just get Tim Curry to do it again...

I didn't find the movie or the book all that frightening. I dislike clowns, but they don't scare me. Balloons full of blood don't exactly do it for me either. I thought the creepiest part of the book was how King kept focusing on sexualizing a little girl and then had her play train tunnel at the end.
