Warner Bros. "IT" Remake
Yes, it's true. Warner Bros. have announced their plans to make another film based on "IT," a famous novel by Stephen King. During the late 80's, a straight-to-t.v. movie based on the book was released.
It is now considered to be one of the scariest t.v. movies ever made. The question is this: is it time for this story to be told on the big screen?

I think the problem with certain stephen king books, you need that 4 hours to completely get the story. To fleash out the characters, could a 2-2 1/2 hour version could do the job; perhaps depending on the script. Still the original adaption from the 80s will be my favorite.

I don't think anybody liked the ending. It's one thing to be cliche, but I think King just got lazy.

Stephen King's stories normally have weak endings, so I expect this one to have one as well.

Neither could any of us. Somehow, a giant spider is significantly less terrifying than a psychopathic, supernatural clown child-murderer/eater.

Cybersoldier is right, the only thing is, "IT" was already a four movie and still didn't do the novel justice. Imagine it being cut down to 2-21/2 hour.

I am really sceptical that a 2-2 1/2 version would do justice to the novel, I liked the Salem's Lot adaptation though. Wonder if anyone caught that movie?

If made dark as hell, this remake could be brilliant and one of the few I could seriously get behind.
