I don't know about you guys, but I used to be a HUGE gamer freak. The games industry lately has been disappointing me across the board, shifting my interest to movies for the search of interesting narratives, but I still fondly remember several games that I treasure for the plots most of all.
Persona 4:
The only Persona game I've ever played and now my favorite JRPG of all time. The mystery of the plot was interesting, in that it asks you to think about and try to guess the solutions of the murders as you go along. Most of all, I love the character interactions in getting to know your friends and deal with their Ids made physical. The essential theme of the plot is about how deep inside, we're all fucked up, but we need to accept and reconcile those dark halves to control those overboard tendencies and become a better, self-loving person. The plot is so deliciously Jungian, I savor it constantly.
